RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS

How Can I make a reservation
?
all summer reservations must be processed through our online booking request system. Click the following link to Book Online  (for questions call us at 831-624-1617 or Mobile Line: 831-512-9025)


 Office Hours: 10am-5pm
To check availability you can check online, call or email us at smrcarmelcamping@gmail.com. If you get our voicemail, please leave a clear and detailed message- we will try to get back to you as soon as possible. We will need to know if you are looking for a Cabin, RV or campsite. If you are interested in an RV site we will need to know the full size 
(including hitch and any slide outs) of your RV. If you are interested in a tent site, please let us know the size/shape of your tent and the type of vehicle you will be driving. For both RV and tent site reservations we will need to know how many guests, number of pets (if any), and how many vehicles you will need parking for. If we have availability to accommodate your request, we will ask for a deposit payment to secure your site. If you provide us with an email address, we will send you a confirmation email that includes a receipt of deposit payment, dates of reservation, terms and conditions, and directions.

How can I pay my deposit?

Book online or call us at 831-624-1617. We accept Visa, AMEX, Discover, and MasterCard. If you would rather pay by check, we accept traveler's checks as well as certified checks. Please make checks payable to Saddle Mountain Ranch LLC and mail checks to 27625 Schulte Rd. Carmel CA 93923. Deposit payment is required for all reservations to be complete. For all holiday, special event, group and weekly reservations we require payment to be made in full 2 weeks prior to check-in. All cabin and monthly reservations are due 30 days prior to check-in.


How can I pay my balance due?
We accept Cash, Visa, Discover, MasterCard, AMEX or a certified check. If you have a reservation in which you paid via credit card, you may ask us to charge balance due with the card on file. Please note: refer to terms and conditions on your reservation confirmation to find out when your balance is due.

What should I do if I need to cancel my reservation?

Cancellation Policy:  Depending on your reservation type your reservation may or may not be able to be cancelled. Always refer to terms and conditions listed on your confirmation receipt to find out what policy is attached to your booking. A minimum of 48 hours cancellation is required for refund of deposit.  There will be a $10.00+ processing fee on all cancellations.  If you cancel without 48 hours notice, your full deposit will be forfeited. Summer, Holiday, Special Event, Cabin, and yurt bookings all have stricter cancellation policies provided prior to finalizing your online reservation request.

Can I make a group reservation?
         Yes. All Group Booking requests must contact us via email. Let us know the dates, number of desired sites, amount of adults and number of children with ages, amount/size of tents, amount of cars, and pets (if any). We encourage a 3+ month notice for all group bookings.  ****attention we are no longer accepting group reservations for the 2017 summer season.*****

Can I pick my site when making  reservation?
         Final site assignments are made the day of your arrival. We will take requests and will try our best to honor those requests. If you are interested in reserving a particular site we offer "Site Guarantee" to our guests. "Site Guarantee" is $5/day per site, is due in full upon booking and is non-refundable. Note: site guarantee is not always available due to date, site, or availability restrictions. We try our best to accommodate your request but may not always be able to offer it. We appreciate your understanding.

If I arrive after office hours how do I check-in?
         Come by office. All guest reservation check-in packets are located in the file labeled "Reservation check in packets" on the left corner of office.


What is the road like on the property?
The road in the main RV section and office parking lot are paved. The main entrance is a narrow steep one way paved road and the exit is a steep downhill paved road. The upper campsites are located off a steep dirt road, that can be difficult to drive on for some vehicles or drivers. We located on the side of a hill so all our sides are terraced along hillside. 


AMENITIES ON SITE AND LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

Is there a laundry mat on site?
No. There is one located under 2 miles away next to the nearest grocery store, Safeway, and gas station.

Is there Internet on site?
Yes. We have free WIFI internet on property. During busy times internet speed may slow due to a heavier amount of activity. WIFI can reach most of our sites, however we do not guarantee it in your site. Internet is best available on community deck, located next to office.


Are there hot showers?
Yes. Both men's and women's restrooms below have a shower in them. There are restroom and hot showers above by tent sites as well. 

What are the on-site activities?
We have a large swimming pool (heated from memorial weekend through labor day), playground, horseshoes, hiking, foosball, great vista points, decks to sun bathe or relax, boardgames, and more. *Check with office to find out what is currently available.

How far away is the nearest beach?
Carmel Beach is located less than 8 miles away. Located in downtown dog friendly Carmel, Carmel beach is a great spot for family gatherings, dates, and activities.

How far away is the Monterey Bay Aquarium?
The aquarium is 12 miles from Saddle Mountain Ranch. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is enjoyable for all ages- kids and adults alike. 

 What other attractions are located off site and close by?
Shopping, wine tasting, restaurants, bars, golf course, point lobos, historical Carmelo Mission, spas, whale watching, snorkeling, biking, and much more!
